Family and career has always been a balancing act for me. Marrying and having children in college meant juggling work and family life from the very beginning of my career. My parents assisted, but when my father became ill while caring for our younger son, I found myself in a dual role of caring for both children and aging parents. These experiences led me to found Care.com with a great team, serving millions of families and caregivers for over 14 years. However, we couldn't fully tackle the cognitive burdens families face, affecting their self-care, nutrition, and overall well-being. Now, with Ohai.ai, my commitment to positively impacting families globally is stronger than ever. We are focused on developing solutions for Chief Household Officers, primarily women, helping them achieve their utmost potential. Each goal, project, and challenge is a step towards growth, and I'm ready to embrace this new chapter with determination, continuing to support families worldwide.

Messing something up for your kid is the worst feeling.  Missing a birthday party because the evite is buried in your inbox or missing a makeup soccer practice because you forgot to add the rain date to your calendar or showing up to the pool when there’s no swim lesson this week or missing the signup deadline for art class…ugh. I’m so excited to be creating a product that will help me (and you!) avoid feeling this way!

Even though my husband and I are now empty nesters, Ohai has helped us get control over our house and schedules.  My favorite feature is the reminders.  I no longer stress about missing things.  I can now stay on top of personal / household tasks as well as work tasks.

Parenting young adults is like a revolving door - they leave for college and pop back unexpectedly, keeping the nest ever-busy. In building Ohai, I'm channeling this energy. It's about juggling - from playdates for the little ones to being there for aging parents and embracing those surprise laundry visits. 'O' supports our families, constantly adapting and growing together.

Between sports, music lessons, dance classes, and special days like PJ Day at school, our routine is anything but regular. As a tech nerd, of course I turn to technology to help us manage it all - that’s why I’m excited about building Ohai. O has already saved me from forgetting my son’s black belt test, my daughter’s book fair, and a few days that I needed to cover school pick up. It’s only going to keep getting better as we continue to build out O’s capabilities.
