OHAI.AI INTEGRATES INSTACART ORDERING TO SIMPLIFY AND IMPROVE GROCERY DELIVERIES WITH AN AI PERSONAL ASSISTANT FOR ALL

Ohai.ai users can now utilize AI virtual assistant, O, to place grocery orders and more in time for the busy back-to-school season

Just in time for the back-to-school season, Ohai.ai, an AI personal assistant platform led by Care.com founder Sheila Lirio Marcelo, is kicking off a new partnership with Instacart that will simplify and improve grocery shopping across the United States. The Instacart partnership will further Ohai.ai’s mission to revolutionize home and personal organization, alleviating the mental load for all households.

Thanks to an integration via Instacart’s Developer Platform, Ohai.ai users can now plan meals and add shopping lists directly to Instacart using Ohai’s AI virtual assistant, O, with whom they communicate via SMS and web. O can create meal plans, such as school lunches or easy weeknight meals, with guidance from the user on their family’s dietary restrictions and preferences. O can also turn meal plans into grocery lists and share lists with other family members for collaboration. Once O places all items from the list in the user’s Instacart shopping cart, the user can review and complete their purchase via the Instacart app or website.

According to research by the University of Georgia College of Public Health, when parents are overwhelmed and stressed, they resort to less ideal meals and feeding practices for their kids. As the AI industry continues to reimagine productivity, a joint June 2023 report from Grocery Doppio, FMI - The Food Industry Association, and Wynshop reported that grocers plan to increase spending on AI technologies by 400% before 2025.
